1. What is the ePamphlets Online Subscription?

The ePamphlets Online Subscription is a subscription offered for sale by the College through the College’s online bookstore at sales.acog.org. The subscription grants users unlimited digital access to all of the College’s English and Spanish Patient Education Pamphlets for an entire year.

2. How much does the ePamphlets Online Subscription cost?

ePamphlets Online Subscription pricing is per computer/iPad, per year. For example, if you would like to have access to the ePamphlets Online Subscription for two (2) computers and two (2) iPads, you would pay $1,080. Please see the pricing structure below:

3. What functionality does the ePamphlets Online Subscription offer?

Through the ePamphlets Online Subscription site users may search for pamphlets, save frequently used pamphlets for future easy reference, customize pamphlets with physician name/practice name and contact information, and print pamphlets for distribution to patients. Users may also link the Patient Education Frequently Asked Questions to their practice website. Note: Customizable footer is not available for Patient Education FAQs.

4. May I share my ePamphlets Online Subscription license with others in my office or practice?

A license is required for each computer/ iPad on which the ePamphlets Online Subscription is to be accessed. If the ePamphlets Online Subscription is needed on more than one computer, then a separate license must be purchased for each computer.

5. What are the hardware requirements and software compatibility for ePamphlets Online Subscription?

— Windows 2000 with service pack 3 and above

— Third-Generation iPad® and above (iOS 5 and above)

6. What is LockLizard and why do I need it?

LockLizard is the software, that grants access to the ePamphlets Online Subscription. You must download the LockLizard Safeguard Secure Viewer and the LockLizard Safeguard License in order to access the ePamphlets Online Subscription. Links to this software and license are included in the order summary email received following the purchase of the ePamphlets Online Subscription.

7. Which of the College’s pamphlets may be accessed through the ePamphlets Online Subscription?

LockLizard is the software, that grants access to the ePamphlets Online Subscription. You must download the LockLizard Safeguard Secure Viewer and the LockLizard Safeguard License in order to access the ePamphlets Online Subscription. Links to this software and license are included in the order summary email received following the purchase of the ePamphlets Online Subscription.

8. May I email pamphlets from the ePamphlets Online Subscription to my patients?

E-mailing functionality is not currently offered through the ePamphlets Online Subscription. You may print the pamphlets for distribution to your patients. We are currently working to add this functionality in the near future.

9. Does the ePamphlets Online Subscription interface with EMR systems?

The current version of the ePamphlets Online Subscription does not interface with EMR systems.

10. Are the pamphlets downloaded to my computer/where are the ePamphlets stored?

The ePamphlets are not downloaded or stored on your computer. However, a temporary file for the ePamphlets is stored on your computer.

11. Are the pamphlets downloaded to my computer/where are the ePamphlets stored?

No. You may not make changes to the content of the ePamphlets.

12. May I customize the ePamphlets?

Yes. A footer for customization is available for completion by you. You will be prompted to do this during the ordering process. You may include: physician name and address along with contact information – phone number and e-mail. This footer will display on each page of the ePamphlet.
